A delegation of Iraq-Azerbaijan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group will visit Baku soon, head of the Working Group on Azerbaijani-Iraqi inter-parliamentary relations Ilham Mammadov told Trend on Monday.
He said within the visit, which is of an introductory character, further strengthening of bilateral relations will be discussed.
"Iraq within international organizations has always supported Azerbaijan's fair position. Iraq has also demonstrated its support when Azerbaijan was elected as the UNSC non-permanent member," he said.
Within the visit Iraqi MPs are planned to hold meetings with Azerbaijani parliamentary speaker, as well as other officials of the country.
