BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 26. Members of illegal Armenian armed groups, taking advantage of foggy weather and limited visibility, attempted to sabotage units of the Azerbaijani army on March 26, Trend reports citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry. Members of the illegal Armenian armed formations were forced to retreat.
The command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and the joint Russian-Turkish monitoring center were informed about the incident as a result of the immediate measures taken by the units of our army.
There are no losses among the personnel and equipment of the Azerbaijani Army.
The operational situation is under the full control of our units, the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
