First secretary of Iranian embassy meets with functionary of Democratic Party

The first secretary of the Iranian embassy in Baku, Mustafa Meshedi, met with the first deputy chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party, Sardar Jalaloglu on 22 June, the party told Trend.

Initiated by Meshedi the meeting focused on exchange of opinions concerning the last actions staged by Azerbaijan residing in Iran. The first secretary informed about the Iranian governments official standpoint in this respect.

At the same time Meshedi noted that his ideas sounded on 20 June in a roundtable organized by Azadlyg bloc in connection with the recent developments in South Azerbaijan were distorted in media and caused concerns.

In his turn Jalaloglu voiced his disappointment with the fact. He informed Meshedi about the ADPs position on the actions staged by Azerbaijanis in Iran.
