More than 15,000 cubic meters of timber was imported to Azerbaijan from the Kirov region of Russia in October 2021, Trend reports with reference to the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) of Russia.
According to Rosselkhoznadzor, all products have passed laboratory control at the Perm branch of the Russian Center for Plant Quarantine (FSBI VNIIKR) subordinate to the Rosselkhoznadzor.
"No quarantine pests were detected during laboratory tests. The shipped consignment met the phytosanitary requirements of the importing country," the message said.
It is noted that that Russia has exported more than 325,680 cubic meters of timber to Azerbaijan since the beginning of the year.
