Iran's export to members of the ASEAN during the first three months of the current Iranian calendar year (started on March 21, 2011) increased 90 percent, IRNA reported quoting Managing Director of Asia and Oceania trade office of Iran's Trade Promotion OrganizationAmir Talebi as saying.
"Iran's non-oil export in the first three months of year to members of Association of Southeast Asian Nations reached $855 million," he said.
The country's non-oil export to ASEAN members during this period reached 1,60 million tons.
Iran 's non-oil export to ASEAN during the same period of the last Iranian year (ended on March 20, 2011) 590,000 tons worth $499 million.
Petrochemical products, fruit, carpet, pistachio, food products are Iran's main non oil export to members of Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
Iran 's Trade Promotion Organization signed an agreement with the ASEAN's members to increase relations and participation of its private sectors in the market.
