Share of natural gas in electricity production decreases in Turkey

In March 2019, the share of natural gas in electricity production in Turkey decreased by 2.96 percent, and 25,587.29 megawatts of electricity were produced with usage of natural gas, Trend reports referring to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

The share of electricity produced with usage of natural gas is 30.6 percent, according to the EPDK report.

In March 2019, capacity of 83,488.49 megawatts was ensured in Turkey as a whole, which is 1.90 percent more than in the same month of 2018.
