Epsilon Development Company LLC has discovered a new field in Uzbekistan with forecasted reserves of 4 billion cubic meters of gas and 98,000 tons of condensate with a daily flow rate of more than 1 million cubic meters of gas, Trend reports citing the press service of the company.
Epsilon discovered the field on October 12, after the completion of the drilling of exploratory well No. 1 with a high reservoir pressure of 450 atmospheres at the Nuroltin structure.
In the near future, Epsilon will lay a 1.6 km gas pipeline with a diameter of 168 mm to transport gas to the population of Uzbekistan.
Moreover, three exploration wells will be drilled to clarify the structure of the new field and confirm reserves.
All work is carried out in accordance with sanitary-epidemiological and environmental standards.
Epsilon Development Company LLC was established in 2018. The company is an independent oil and gas exploration, development, and production company (“E&P”) operating in Uzbekistan.
