BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 24. Over eight million tons of oil and almost 11 billion cubic meters of gas were produced in Azerbaijan in the third quarter of 2022, the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) told Trend on October 24.
According to the company, the volume of natural gas exports increased by 16 percent - up to 5.2 billion cubic meters.
"Gas consumption in the reporting period in the country amounted to 2.5 billion cubic meters, which is 2.5 percent more than in the third quarter of last year," the company said.
The company stressed that the growth in the level of gas supply in the country led to a growth in gas consumption.
