The joint Azerbaijani-Netherlands enterprise AzeriFugro in the second half of July will continue geotechnical work in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea with the request of Agip, Trend reports quoting the company.
The company will hold investigation of the quality of soil, as well as investigation for the construction of the pipeline towards the coast.
One part of the work was implemented last year. The drilling of geotechnical wells was held from Kazakh barge. During the works, two well have already been drilled in depth of up to 300 meters and about four wells in depth of 150 meters.
