BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 29. The Money Supply Rate (М2) in Azerbaijan amounted to 28.7 billion manat ($16.88 billion) as of November 1, 2022, Trend reports citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.
According to the bank, this figure increased 6.12 billion manat ($3.6 billion) or 27.12 percent against the same period of 2021 (22.578 billion manat or $13.28 billion).
The cash money supply in circulation (M0) increased by 1.26 billion manat ($741.29 million) or 13.2 percent year over year – from 11.08 billion manat ($6.5 billion) to 12.5 billion manat ($7.35 billion).
Meanwhile, the broad money supply (M3) has risen by 8.7 billion manat ($5.1 billion) or 26.85 percent reaching 41.178 billion manat ($24.2 billion) against 32.46 billion manat ($19.09 billion) a year earlier.
The transaction money (M1) edged up by 5.2 billion manat ($3.059 billion) or 27.04 percent year over year – from 19.39 billion manat ($11.4 billion) to 24.636 billion manat ($14.49 billion).
