BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 30. The total payments of 10 Azerbaijani leading insurance companies amounted to 728.694 million manat ($428 million) or 91.36 percent of total insurance payments from January through October 2022, Trend reports via the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
According to CBA, the list of top 10 companies in terms of payments was headed by PASHA Life, which accounted for 43.01 percent of payments for the reporting period. The company's payments amounted to 343.083 million manat ($201.8 million) from January through October 2022.
PASHA Insurance, with total insurance payments of 182.918 million manat or $107.6 million (22.93 percent of all payments), ranked second, and Ateshgah Life, with payments of 40.3 million manat or $23 million (5.06 percent) - third.
Total payments of all insurance companies in Azerbaijan amounted to 797.625 million manat ($469 million) from January through October this year.
