In October 2019, the number of requests from Azerbaijan’s state agencies related to computer security increased by nearly 16 percent compared to the previous month and amounted to 530 cases, Trend reports referring to the Computer Security Emergency Response Team (CERT) under Azerbaijan’s State Agency for Special Communications and Information Security of the Special State Security Service.
In October 2019, CERT reviewed and addressed 98.4 percent of all requests received during this period.
On the basis of the audit of information security, CERT prepared and sent 26 reports to the relevant structures, which is by 3.8 percent less than in September.
In October 2019, 7 domains and 11 sub-domains were registered in the Azerbaijani segment of the internet.
From January through October 2019, the number of requests from Azerbaijan’s state agencies related to computer security amounted to 3,511. CERT reviewed and addressed 92.9 percent of all requests received during this period.
On the basis of the audit of information security, CERT prepared and sent 215 reports to the relevant structures in the reporting period.
