Volume of cargo loaded/unloaded in Iran's Anzali port down

The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port of the Gilan Province (northern Iran) decreased by 27.6 percent in the 10th month of the current Iranian year (December 22, 2021, through January 20, 2022), compared to the 9th month (November 22 through December 21, 2021), Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 86,700 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port in the 10th month. Of this, 38,500 tons were loaded and 48,200 tons were unloaded.

In addition, 36,400 tons of cargo were exported and 47,900 tons were imported through the Anzali port over the reporting month.

Also, 2,070 tons of cargo were loaded and 24 tons were unloaded in the port for transit, as well as, 211 tons of cargo were unloaded for other purposes in the 10th month, the statistics said.

According to the statistics, 27,200 tons of essential products, 1,700 tons of metal products, 8,600 tons of construction and mining materials, 1,660 tons of equipment, vehicles, and spare parts were loaded and unloaded in the Anzali port in the 10th month of the current Iranian year.

Moreover, 12,000 tons of chemicals, 28,800 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper, and wood materials, 5,450 tons of container products, and 1,140 tons of crude oil and oil products were loaded and unloaded in this port within the mentioned month.

About 17.9 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 10th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 11.9 million tons were loaded and 6.03 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 42 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
