BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 16. Kyrgyzstan's industrial production increased from January through June 2022, Trend reports citing the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to the committee, the industrial production in Kyrgyzstan in the first half of 2022 reached 190.7 billion soms ($2.3 billion), which is an increase of 24.1 percent compared to the same period of 2021 (155.2 billion soms, or $1.9 billion).
Production in the processing industry of Kyrgyzstan from January through June 2022 increased by 26.6 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2021 (112.8 billion soms, or $1.3 billion) - up to 142.9 billion soms ($1.7 billion).
While, the production in the mining industry of Kyrgyzstan in the reporting period amounted to 22.3 billion soms (276.2 million dollars) - an increase of 19.8 compared to the same period of 2021 (18.6 billion soms, or $230.7 million).
