Speaker of Turkmen Parliament Akja Nurberdiyeva has received credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia, Jaan Hein, the Turkmen government reported Thursday.
According to the report, the Estonian diplomat stressed the interest of Estonian business circles in establishing full-scale dialogue with Turkmenistan.
Hein said that this issue will be subject to a detailed discussion during the upcoming visit to Turkmenistan of Estonian Prime Minister, Andrus Ansip later this month.
Cooperation in science and information and communication technologies, health and tourism, the use of alternative energy sources were named at the meeting among the priority areas of the two countries' partnership.
