BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 4. "Nebitgazduypliabatlayysh" department of the "Turkmennebit" State Concern exceeded the plan for oil and gas production from January through April 2022, Trend reports with reference to the Business Turkmenistan website.
During the reporting period, the department's employees produced more than 42,300 tons of oil instead of the planned 26,300 tons.
At the same time, the trust has successfully carried out repair work on 219 wells, of which 175 have been commissioned.
Furthermore, during the reporting period, 11.3 million cubic meters of natural gas were produced from newly commissioned wells.
During a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in early February of this year, a resolution was signed according to which the "Turkmennebit" State Concern will receive over 250 million Turkmen manats ($71.4 million) for the development of the oil and gas industry.
