BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 27. In accordance with the Presidential Program of socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028, it is planned to build an enterprise for the production of combined mineral fertilizers in Turkmenistan, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.
For this purpose, specialists of the Turkmenhimiya State Concern together with employees of the Institute of Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan have prepared the necessary documentation. It provides for the creation of an enterprise for the production of mixed mineral fertilizers with a capacity of 170,000 tons per year on the basis of a chemical plant in Turkmenabad city. The cost of the object is $18 million.
According to the order of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, financing of the construction of an enterprise for the production of combined mineral fertilizers on the basis of a chemical plant in Turkmenabad is planned by attracting credit funds from the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development.
The production of combined mineral fertilizers, which include nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in various ratios, is the most economically profitable, including from the point of view of supplies abroad.
