Polish company eyes producing packaging materials for automotive industry in Uzbekistan

Polish Tri-Wall Polska company plans to launch production of packaging materials for the needs of the automotive industry and the processing sector of the agrarian sector of Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to Uzbek embassy in Poland.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan, a delegation of the Polish Tri-Wall Polska headed by its director for the CIS countries Dariusz Kochmarsky has visited Uzbekistan. The company specializes in the production of complex packaging from various types of raw materials - cardboard, polypropylene, polystyrene, fabric, including for all types of spare parts for cars, fruits and vegetables and other products.

It was noted that the purpose of the visit is to open the production of packaging materials for the needs of the automotive industry and the processing sector of the agricultural sector in Uzbekistan.

The delegation held negotiations with the leadership of the Foreign Investment Agency under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, at which Polish investors were provided with complete information on investment conditions, benefits and preferences, export opportunities and the labor market in Uzbekistan, free economic and small industrial zones.

During the meeting with the governor of the Yangikhayot region of Tashkent Hayot Inogamov, the delegation got acquainted with the potential of the region, promising investment projects. Also, the parties discussed the possibilities of organizing the production of packaging containers in this region, where all conditions for the work of investors have been created.

“Our task is to create a large and high-tech production here based on the environmental standards required in Europe,” Polish side stressed.
