Turkey’s marine fuel exports to Georgia decrease

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 27. Georgia’s marine fuel imports from Turkey dipped in January 2022 compared to the same period of 2021, Trend reports citing Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

According to the report, marine fuel imports amounted to 475,000 tons, which is a decrease of 6.8 percent, compared to 510,000 tons that were recorded during the same period last year.

Turkey’s marine fuel exports to Georgia in 2021 totaled 3 million tons, which is a decrease of 28.5 percent, compared to 4.2 million tons in 2020.

In all, Turkey’s total fuel exports to Georgia in January 2022 amounted to 558,947 tons, which is an increase of 3 percent, compared to the same month of 2021 (542,290 tons), with the reference to Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).
