The Georgia Defense Ministry hosted a workshop on cyber security. Estonian and British experts discussed challenges of Information Technology civilization with their Georgian colleagues.
A roundtable meeting was held within the programme of professional development of Georgia-NATO relations.
The workshop was opened by the Estonian Cyber Security Department head Raul Rikk. Experts from UK, Vice-Colonel Nigel Garison and chairman of Institute for Strategy and Development Andro Barnovi highlighted importance of information security in the context of national security speaking at the meeting.
The workshop was attended by representatives of various governmental and nongovernmental agencies.
According to the Estonian expert Raul Rikk, the workshop will help in developing a national strategy of Georgia's cyber security.
