Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will run under strong observation of election commissions, Central Elections Commission (CEC) Chairman Mazahir Panahov said to a news conference on Sunday.
The elections will be held in transparent and democratic conditions and become Azerbaijan's next step in this direction.
Polls for parliamentary elections are held in Azerbaijan on Sunday. A total of 690 candidates are balloting in the parliamentary elections.
Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
