Baraka agricultural company in Georgia eyes ambitious plans for Georgian market

Despite the COVID-19 risks, agricultural products company Baraka has ambitious plans for the Georgian market, Trend reports via Georgian media.

The company plans to open stores by the end of 2020 to make its products more accessible for farmers. The trading outlets will be located in Kvareli, Zugdidi, Marneuli, and Gori.

Farmers will be able to receive products at storehouses located in Kachreti and Kutaisi.

The farmers’ service center and network store offer plant protection services, fertilizers, seed materials, and agribusiness equipment.

The company also provides consulting services and agronomist services for farmers.

The company representatives discussed wine growing issues together with winegrowers and winemaking companies at a special presentation.

At the meeting, farmers received information on the European experience too. The meeting was attended by about 40 farmers.
