Iran eyes to develop exports to Oman

TEHRAN, Iran, August 1. Iran's Trade Promotion Organization, the Organization of Small Industries and Industrial Towns, and the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce have signed a joint cooperation memorandum to expand Iran's non-oil exports to Oman, Trend reports citing IRNA.

The trilateral MoU has been signed by Head of Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce Mohsen Zarrabi, Head of Trade Promotion Organization of Iran (TPO) Alireza Peimanpak, and Managing Director of Iran Small Industries and Industrial Parks Organization (ISIPO) Ali Rasoulian.

Under the terms of the MoU, the parties will collaborate to provide capable domestic producers located in industrial towns with special incentives.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Peymanpak said that the TPO has taken good measures to improve and promote communication between the Organization and the Iran-Oman Joint Chamber of Commerce.

Referring to the establishment of a direct shipping line between the two countries, he said that the TPO also pursues guarantee issues for exporters through the export guarantee fund.
