BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 5. The number of passengers transported to international directions through Iranian airports amounted to approximately 2 million, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), compared to the same period last Iranian year, as was reflected in the statistics of Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company (IAC), Trend reports.
Meanwhile, in the same period of the last Iranian year, the figure stood at over 770,000 people.
