BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 28. Afghan entrepreneurs purchased diesel fuel during trading on July 26 at the State Commodity and Raw Material Exchange of Turkmenistan, Trend reports citing Orient news.
Businessmen from Afghanistan purchased 3,000 tons diesel fuel on the exchange at a price of $1,143 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $3.4 million.
Furthermore, according to the exchange, the price of Turkmen diesel fuel decreased by 2.7 percent compared to previous transactions.
Meanwhile, businessmen from Afghanistan on July 19 also purchased diesel fuel on the Turkmen exchange for $3.6 million.
The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan was established on July 29, 1994. It is the most important body of state regulation of export-import operations.
