The number of transactions concluded by the Uzbek "Toshkent" Republican Stock Exchange in October 2021 amounted 6,723 which worth 18.25 billion soums ($1.6 million), Trend reports citing the exchange.
During this period, the objects of transactions were 463.52 million securities of 52 issuers.
In total, from January through October 2021 the stock exchange concluded 54,304 transactions worth 1 trillion soums ($92.4 million).
At the same time, the largest number and volume of transactions were recorded in May 2021 (8,652 transactions worth 612.4 billion soums or $56.6 million).
The industry leaders in terms of the volume of transactions were the industrial sector, which is 24.34 percent of the total volume of transactions, and the insurance sector, which is 24.74 percent of the total volume of transactions.
The volume of transactions with securities of insurance sector amounted to 4.5 billion soums ($416,000), with securities of companies from the industrial sector amounted to 4.4 billion soums ($406,800).
The largest number of transactions was made with securities of banks, which amounted to 2,427 transactions.
The smallest number and volume of transactions were recorded with securities of issuers from the communications and transport industries.
