BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 29. Uzbekistan increased the volume of market services provided from January through June 2022, Trend reports via Uzbek State Statistics Committee.
Since the beginning of the year, the volume of market services rendered in the country amounted to 160.6 trillion soums ($14.65 billion). This is 14.5 percent more than in the same period last year.
The share of Tashkent city in the total volume of services rendered is 37.7 percent (60.6 trillion soums or $5.52 billion), which corresponds to the volume of market services provided by nine regions (Andijan, Bukhara, Jizzakh, Kashkadarya, Navoi, Namangan, Samarkand, Syrdarya and Fergana regions) - 37.8 percent.
Large funds are allocated in Uzbekistan for the successful development of regions and improvement of social and living conditions of the population.
