Turkey registered 23 companies with Kazakh capital from January through August 2020, which is by 1 company more than in the same period of 2019, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) told Trend.
During the reporting period, the total capital of Kazakh companies registered in Turkey exceeded 5.2 million liras ($630,000), as compared to over 4.3 million liras ($520,000) in the same period of last year.
Meanwhile, most of the Kazakh companies were registered in Istanbul (15 companies) with a total capital of over 4.5 million liras ($530,000).
Eleven companies were engaged in wholesale and retail trade, 4 were construction companies, 2 - tourism, and 3 were industrial companies.
"The remaining 3 companies with Kazakh capital operate in other sectors of the economy," TOBB said.
The total capital of 11 companies operating in the wholesale and retail trade registered during the reporting period exceeded 2.3 million liras ($270,000), according to TOBB.
