Iran holding talks with China, Russia before Baghdad "5+1" negotiations

Iranian Deputy Nuclear Negotiator Ali Bagheri will be heading to Russia to meet with country's Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov to discuss Iran's nuclear program and the upcoming negotiations in Baghdad with the "5+1" group, Mehr reported.

Iran and the P5+1 (Britain, France, Russia, China and the United States plus Germany) wrapped up the latest round of their negotiations on April 14 in the Turkish city of Istanbul, and both sides hailed the multifaceted talks as constructive.

Iraq will host the next round of the talks on May 23.

Bagheri visited China yesterday, where consultations on Islamic Republic's nuclear program were also held.
