Seminar for civil societies of EU countries and Kyrgyzstan takes place in Bishkek

Organized by the European Union and Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan, a seminar for the civil societies of the European Union countries and Kyrgyzstan on the theme: "Co-operation in protection and promotion of the rights of children and prisoners" took place in Bishkek on March 7, a source at the Foreign Ministry told Trend .

The seminar was aimed at establishing basis and possibilities for the co-operation of Kyrgyz and European representatives of civil societies, helping official dialogue through changing views.

The event was attended by more than 75 representatives of the civil societies of Kyrgyzstan, Great Britain, Czech Republic, Poland, Italy, Tajikistan, Belgium, Kazakhstan.

As a result of dialogue regarding international standards and their use in the sphere of the rights of children and the rights of prisoners, were prepared two blocs of recommendations for the government of Kyrgyzstan and European Union.
