The transfers from State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ) to the state budget are forecast to equal 12.71 billion manats ($7.4 billion), Trend reports citing the "On the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2022" law draft published in the official press.
Thus, the value of transfers will increase by 4.2 percent year-on-year, as the transfers for 2021 are forecast to be 12.2 billion manats ($7.1 billion).
The revenues of the state budget of Azerbaijan in 2022 is forecast to equal about 26.82 billion manats ($15.7 billion), which is an increase of 5.4 percent compared to 2021.
State budget expenditures are projected at 29.89 billion manats ($17.5 billion), which is 4.7 percent more as compared to the expenditures envisioned in 2021.
Thus, a budget deficit is to be just over 3.06 billion manats ($1.8 billion), which is 1.7 percent less than in the state budget for 2021.
