RUSSIAN PERMITS PASSAGE OF 3 VESSELS OF CSC

The Russian government gave permission to passage of 3 vessels of the Azerbaijani Caspian Shipping Company of Azerbaijan in the internal waters of Russia, Vugar Mirsadig, the spokesman for the CSC, told Trend.

According to Mirsadig, the document was undersigned by Russian Prime Minister Michael Fradkov. "At present the vessels are undergoing the customs-border procedures at the entrance to Volga-Don channel. They are expected to pass the channel tomorrow [Tuesday], he noted. РѕС'РјРµС'РёР" РѕРЅ.

Three Azerbaijani vessels - Maestro Niyazi (from 24 April), Natavan (from 3 May) and Rasul Rza (from 8 May) вЂ" are waiting for permission for passage on the Sea of Azov. The company lost more than $1m as a result of cessation of their functioning in the internal waters of Russia.
