Iran gas condensates, petrochemical products exports fall

Iran's gas condensates exports faced 15 per cent decrease in the first four months of the current Iranian calendar year, which started March 21.

The country's petrochemical products exports also experienced over 12 per cent decrease in the mentioned period, Iran Customs Administration reported.

Iran exported 2.646 billion dollars worth of gas condensates, and 3.157 billion dollars worth of petrochemicals in the mentioned period.

Iran's foreign trade was around 25.445 billion dollars in the first four months of the current year, which started March 21. The country's exports accounted for 12.536 billion dollars of the mentioned amount.

China (with 2.118 billion dollars), Iraq (with 1.939 billion dollars), the United Arab Emirates (with 1.146 billion dollars), Afghanistan (with 889 million dollars), and India (with 796 million dollars) were the main destination markets for iranian goods.

Iran's non-oil exports faced 5.18 per cent increase during the mentioned period, compared to the same period of time previous year. It is while the country's imports decreased by 26.27 per cent.

During the mentioned period, Iran exported 25.679 million tons of non-oil goods (including gas condensates) and imported 9.122 million tons of goods.

Iran had non-oil trade with 196 countries in the previous year.
