BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 18. The value of trading in shares at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) has amounted to 83.9 billion tenge ($175.8 million) over the period from January through September 2020, which is 55.3 percent less than during the same period last year, Trend reports citing KASE.

Furthermore, the trading volume in corporate bonds amounted to 1.1 trillion tenge ($2.3 billion) and decreased by 9.4 percent compared to 9M2021.

The trading volume in government securities stood at 4.5 trillion tenge ($9.4 billion) over the reporting period of 2022, which is 85.8 percent more compared to the corresponding period of 2021.

The trading in securities of investment funds equaled 6.6 billion tenge ($13.8 million), which is 79.7 percent less than during the same period of 2021.

In turn, trading in the foreign currency market amounted to 13.9 trillion tenge ($29.2 billion) and increased by 30 percent compared to the same period of last year.

Thus, the overall trading volume on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange in all sectors of the market amounted to 193.5 trillion tenge ($425.1 billion) and increased by 69.4 percent year-on-year.
