BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 14. Kazakhstan's GDP growth rate over the first two months of the current year stood at 4.3 percent, Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Alibek Kuantyrov said at a government meeting, Trend reports, citing Kazakh media.

According to the minister, the growth in the real sector amounted to 2.7 percent, while in the service sector the growth stood at 5 percent. There is a positive trend in all major industries, he noted. In particular, the construction, information and communication sectors, as well as trade have demonstrated the largest growth.

"The growth rate of investments in fixed assets amounted to 19.2 percent. The inflow of investments increased in transport and warehousing - by 72.8 percent, agriculture - by 33.1 percent, real estate transactions - by 12.1 percent, as well as in industry - by 14.1 percent, including mining - by 12.2 percent, and manufacturing - by 7.2 percent," he added.

In the regional context, the best indicators are noted in Ulytau, Mangystau, Pavlodar and Karaganda regions, Kuantyrov added.

Meanwhile, in January this year, the growth rate of Kazakhstan's economy amounted to 5.6 percent.
