So far no violations were reported from the parliamentary elections, Iran's Intelligence minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar said, Irib news reported.
Najjar noted that country's Electoral Commission carefully observes the electoral process, and also thanked other officials, governors, executives and colleagues for their efforts.
Najjar underscored that all electoral process must carry on according to the law.
The second round of parliamentary elections began in Iran at 08:00 local time today, which will continue until 18:00.
According to the law, the parliamentary elections must last 10 hours, but if there is a need, the interior minister may extend the voting time.
Overall, 130 candidates from 33 constituencies of Iran will participate in the elections. Among 130 candidates, 65 will be elected into the country's parliament.
The first meeting of the Iranian parliament is planned to be held on the seventh date of Khordad month 1391 in Islamic calendar (May 27, 2012).
