Azerbaijani, Afghan Foreign Ministers to Pay Mutual Visits

Azerbaijan, Baku, 9 May / Trend corr S. Agayeva/ Azerbaijan appointed permanent diplomatic representative to Afghanistan. Azerbaijani Ambassador to Pakistan Eynulla Madatli, who is accredited to Afghanistan, handed in Azerbaijani Foreign Minister's letter about establishment of a diplomatic representation in Kabul to Afghan Foreign Minister Rangin Dadfar Spanta.   

"Ibrahim Gafarov, employee of Azerbaijani Embassy in Pakistan, was put forward as the head of the representation office," Embassy reported to Trend on 9 May. 

It was noted at the meeting that Azerbaijan's permanent diplomatic representation in Afghanistan will promote development of bilateral relations.    

Afghan Foreign Minister highly appreciated Azerbaijan's support to restoration of peace and stability in Afghanistan, as Azerbaijan sent its peacekeepers to the country within international peacekeeping force.

Diplomats also discussed further mutual visits to be paid by Azerbaijani and Afghan Foreign Ministers.
