Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received delegation led by first deputy speaker of the Kyrgyz parliament (Zhogorku Kenesh) Cholpon Baekova on March 13, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
Cholpon Baekova said her visit to Baku aims to exchange views on development of inter-parliamentary ties, to participate in the presentation of the book devoted to famous Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aytmatov and events to be held in Azerbaijan on occasion of writer's anniversary.
The Azerbaijani President highly appreciated significance of events dedicated to the well-known Kyrgyz writer Chingiz Aytmatov. President emphasized a need to enhance bilateral, specifically inter-parliamentary ties between Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan.
