Spanish police conducts a large-scale operation against the so-called "Russian mafia" in the country's four regions.
According to television company "Rustavi 2", so far 24 suspected have been detained. There are Georgians and Armenians among them. The detained individuals are accused of drug and arm smuggling and membership in criminal group.
Similar special operations against "Russian mafia" were held also in other countries of Europe. About 45 people have been arrested in connection with "Russian mafia" in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Italy.
