The First Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Giga Bokeria has been appointed the secretary of the Georgian National Security Council and advisor to the President, the Georgian President’s press office reports.

The First Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Giga Bokeria has been appointed the secretary of the Georgian National Security Council and advisor to the President, the Georgian President's press office reports.

Eka Tkeshelashvili, who has been the NSC's Secretary before Bokeria, will be the Vice-Premier, State Minister for Reintegration. In this post, she will replace Temur Yakobashvili.

President offered the Parliament to appoint Yakobashvili Georgia's ambassador to the United States. Now Georgian ambassador to the U.S. is Batu Kutelia.
