The African Union Commission Chairperson Jean Ping sent a letter of gratitude to the Azerbaijan i Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov for his financial assistance in dealing with the humanitarian catastrophe in Somalia , the Foreign Ministry said .
The letter expresses gratitude to the Azerbaijani leadership , government, and people.
Azerbaijan transferred $ 100,000 to the Somali Relief Fund.
