Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat is expected to visit Azerbaijan, Moldovan Ambassador to Baku Igor Bodiu told Trend on Wednesday.
The Moldovan side made an offer regarding the visit based on agreements reached during a meeting between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Moldovan Prime Minister Vladimir Filat in Warsaw within the Eastern Partnership summit, Bodiu said.
"The visit date is proposed as Dec.13-14 for now, but we are waiting for Azerbaijan's response," Bodiu said.
On the eve of the visit, it is planned to hold the next meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation.
The meeting will be held in Chisinau on Dec.1-2, he said.
