The head of the Nagorno-Karabakh separatists, Gukasian, has nothing to say to Armenians, so he comes out with senseless and groundless statements, Nizami Bahmanov, the head of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno-Karabakh, told Trend.
Afetr the meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs Gukasian told journalists that Nagorno-Karabakh would never become a constituent part of Azerbaijan.
Bahmanov noted that the statement was senseless and far from the logics. “All international organizations stated that 2006 can be a breaking year in the resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Even the President and the Foreign Minister of Armenia also adhered this position. In this condition the statement by Gukasian complicates the situation,” Bahmanov underlined.
He also noted that during the meeting with the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs on Friday the Azerbaijani side will discuss issues of conflict resolution and Azerbaijan’s position on the conflict.
