For the purpose to strengthen the staff potential of the treatment-diagnostic center in Lankaran, the Azeri Ministry of Health carried out active preparation of specialists over the recent half a year, the health minister of Azerbaijan Ogtay Shiraliyev told on June 17 in his interview to Lider TV, Trend reports.
The center in Lankaran has been provided with up-to-date technique, and there is a need for high-qualified specialists for managing the complex equipments, told minister, noting that in particular, computer tomography and dialysis will be carried out in the center.
We are continuing to prepare specialists and the main base is Azerbaijan Medical University, added Shiraliyev.
According to the decree issued by ex-president Heydar Aliyev on June 17, 2001, June 17 is marked in Azerbaijan as a day of employees of health sphere.
