MP Elman Rustamov will represent Azerbaijan at the workshop on Parliamentary control over state security sector, to be held in Kiev on 22-23 June 2006, the Milli Majlis [Azerbaijan parliament] told Trend.
Organized by UNDP and the Ukrainian parliament the event will focus on increase of efficiency of activities of the parliaments of post-communist countries, improvement of the management over this sector, assimilation of international experience and strengthening of civil control over sector.
Attending the seminar were representatives from Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Moldova, Ukraine and other countries.
