The delegation of the State Committee on Land and Cartography of Azerbaijan Republic is on the working visit in Istanbul. The delegation headed by Garib Mammadov was invited to Turkey by the department of military Cartography of Turkey, Trend reports.
The goal of the visit is to develop the cooperation in accordance with the agreement between Azerbaijan and Turkey on technical and scientific cooperation in the sphere of cartography. Within the visit, it is expected to discuss the work realized for upgrade of state satellite, expansion of gravimetry sphere, creation of information-geographic systems, tec.
Besides, during the visit there will be discussed the issues of development of cooperation and exchange of experience on use of land resources, and state control on their protection.
The visit will be completed on June 23.
