Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend S.Ihamgizi / Three opposition parties of Azerbaijan created a new Union. The Chairman of Azadlyg Party, Ahmad Oruj, Chairman of Azerbaijan Classic Popular Front Party, Mirmahmud Miralioglu and Chairman of Azerbaijan National Democratic Party, Iskandar Hamidov, signed an agreement on creation of Union for Democracy.
The parties which signed the agreement assumed responsibilities to provide legal and organizational assistance to each others; co-operate with all powers for the democracy; function to cerate democratic electoral atmosphere and legislative base, etc.
According to him, the Union differs from other blocks and parties. It is possible that other parties will also joint the Union.
