Azerbaijan, Baku, 21 October / Trend corr. S.Babayeva/ SC Azersu, the largest state water supplier in Azerbaijan, issued a warning to its subscribers. Water supply will be suspended to holiday houses and plots that are not equipped with water meters and evade paying for water consumption, state company said in an official statement on 21 October
As of January 2008, Azersu set up 243,000 meters. Only in 2007, 76,200 meters were set up, with 64,000 in Baku and 12,200 in the regions of the country. The percentage of the meters equipped for population accounted for 73,000.
