Over 300 kg expired pea withdrawn in Baku

The State Consumer market Control Department under the Azerbaijani Economic Development ministry withdrew from sale more than 270 kg of expired products during its next monitoring on the consumer market, the ministry said on Oct.13.

The State Consumer market Control Department under the Azerbaijani Economic Development ministry withdrew from sale more than 270 kg of expired products during its next monitoring on the consumer market, the ministry said on Oct.13.

The ministry held monitoring in the Sabunchu district of Baku, as well as in the cities of Ganja and Gusar.

The ministry withdrew expired products, including sausages, confectionery products, oil, milk and dairy products, drinks, beer, packaged fish and baby foods from the shops.

The ministry withdrew 300 kg of the expired pea in the shop of the Nizami region.

The ministry drew up acts on administrative violations towards physicals and legal entities.

Generally after the Azerbaijani president's decree on amendments and additions to Administrative Violations Code dated May 17, 48 legal entities were fined in the amount of 185,000 manat and 479 physicals to 715,000 manat.
