Azerbaijan, Baku, March.09 / Trend /
The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry has suspended the production of few diet bread types, the ministry reported today.
Monitoring revealed the lack of a certificate for the production of these breads, the absence of expiry dates on the labels of the Dietik, Borodinskiy and Pahriz breads and a discrepancy between the normative and technical documents of raw material storage requirements. The products were taken for laboratory inspection.
The monitoring also revealed the lack of hygienic certificates and raw materials used for packing bread, as well as addresses of the enterprise and storage conditions on product labels.
According to laboratory examinations, an extract of wheat seeds used as raw material was below the normal weight and the moisture of the Borodinskiy bread was above normal.
The state service advises consumers not to buy the Dietik, Pahriz and Borodinskiy breads produced by MAKO.
